Digital Electronics

Description

In ETEC102, students are introduced to the fundamentals of digital circuits and digital representation of data. Through this course, the student will gain knowledge key in the study of electronic computing systems and data communication system. Students study Boolean algebra, expressing behaviour in truth tables, converting Boolean expression into gate level circuits, commonly used logic gates, latches and flip-flops. Students will work with digital ICs and Programmable Logic Devices (PLDs) in a variety of laboratory exercises.
