| Description | Computers are used in everyday life and are an integral part of the workplace and educational institutions. As a result, hospitality professionals will require diverse computer and technology skills to remain competitive in an ever-changing world. Learners will develop digital awareness and examine their role as digital citizens. This online course will prepare students to effectively use technology throughout their education and in their daily life and growing careers. Through instructional videos, Open Educational Resources, activities, and simulations, students will build and practice fundamental skills to confidently utilize relevant technology. This course covers the full Microsoft 365 suite of programs, including documents, spreadsheets and presentations and, most importantly, the skill of using the tools to effectively create, share and collaborate with others. |
