| Description | This 2D drafting course introduces students to basic drafting conventions while familiarizing them with AutoCAD 2000 commands. The course follows a lecture/practice format using on screen projections, as well as plastic models to better demonstrate the shapes from which students generate their drawings. Student's progress from drawing simple line-types to generating 3rd angle projections including sectional views from isometric drawings. Learning of dimensioning and tolerances as well as the placing of symbols is included where appropriate as an integral part of this course. |
