| Description | This course is a continuation into the fundamentals, principles of operation, disassembly/reassembly and testing of automatic transmissions/transaxles with a greater emphasis on electronic controls. Pumps and hydraulics will be studied in greater detail. Lock-up torque converters and all wheel drive systems will be introduced. Theoretical lessons will be reinforced with practical demonstrations, assignments, and tasks. |
