| Description | This course is an introduction to fundamentals, principles of operation and testing of front and rear wheel driveline and differential/final drive systems. Torque converter (non-lockup) construction and operation will also be introduced. This course will conclude with an introduction to automatic transmission construction and fundamentals. Basic diagnostic strategies in all course topics will be introduced. Theoretical lessons will be reinforced with practical demonstrations, assignments, and tasks. |
