| Description | Quality childcare includes consulting and collaborating in partnerships with the community. Students will have the opportunities in this course to explore critical components of quality childcare within a communal framework. The roles and responsibilities of an Early Childhood Educator will be examined as well as childcare practices and philosophies from both current and historical perspectives. Weekly community agency visits combined with mini lectures and in-class group work that supports both active and emergent learning will be the strategies used to facilitate the student's success in this course
