This course provides students the ability to recognize, analyze, and troubleshoot different elements in electric power systems. The students learn how generators and loads operate and how power is transmitted via transformers and transmission and distribution lines to the loads. The course will also discuss some environmental impacts of power generation and also look at alternative and sustainable energy resources.
