| Description | This course introduces the students to the fundamental concepts and applications of DC generators, DC motors, single phase motors and transformers. Students will learn phasor and vector analysis including power factor correction of resistive, inductive and capacitive circuits. This course will also discuss clean sources of energy in DC generation and the selection - application of energy efficient DC generators, DC motors, Single-Phase motors and transformers. |
