| Description | This course will introduce students to the fundamental concepts of three-phase electrical systems including the required calculations and power factor correction of RLC type loads. Students will learn the types, operation and troubleshooting of three-phase transformers, induction motors, Wound Rotor and Synchronous motors. Calculations of Wye, Delta and Open Delta will be performed in this course. Students will learn how to select energy efficient AC motors. |
