Description

In this course the apprentice will acquire knowledge in developing diagnostics, testing and repair procedures techniques in Electrical / Electronics and Emissions Systems. This course deals with the basics and operation of electrical systems, fuels and emissions. It will introduce atomic theory, ohms law and its applications. Electrical circuits and calculations will be discussed and verified with multimeters. Magnetism will be introduced and its relationship with the operation of motors, generators, alternators and solenoids etc.. Other subject areas will include batteries and testing, circuit protection, wiring repairs and wiring schematics. Fuels,fuel system basics, Intake and exhaust systems, basic Emission controls and basic Hybrid systems and safe working practices. All will following manufacturers’ recommendations.
