Description

In this third course of the Electronics sequence, students will learn the basic principles of digital-to-analog and analog-to-digital conversions. General amplifier feedback concept will precede oscillator operations including phase-shift oscillator, Colpitts oscillator and 555-timer circuits. Basic active filters will be covered. Student will explore various power amplifiers and heat transfer phenomenon. At the end, special attention will be given to voltage regulating principles of linear and switching regulators. Theoretical topics are intensively supported by newly developed laboratory assignments.
