Electronic Circuits

Course CodeEL-215
Lecture hours per week
Lab hours per week
Course AvailabilityOpen
Description
Electronic circuits are the major building blocks that can be combined to form complex systems such as transmitters, receivers, computers or measuring equipment. They are designed to perform a variety of signal processing functions defined as amplification, filtering, and modulation. The primary objective in this course is to develop the student's ability in analyzing and designing the various circuit functions. At this level the main focus is on low-frequency applications. The theory is supplemented by a number of laboratory experiments including building circuits with state-of-the-art Integrated Circuits (LM 317 and LM 2673 Regulators). A solid background in electronic devices and basic electricity is required for successful completion of this course.
