| Description | This course provides the students with a clear, thorough understanding of both the theory and application of the fundamentals of machine elements. Since the design of machine elements involves a great deal of geometry the ability to sketch the various configurations that arise, as well as to draw a free body diagram of the loads acting on a component, is also needed. |
