| Description | This post-graduate course provides an introduction to the basic concepts of Emergency Management and Disaster planning.  Students will learn the five phases of emergency Management: Mitigation, Prevention, Preparedness, Response, Recovery.  Students will also learn the principles of Risk Assessment, Hazard Identification, IMS, Communication, CISM and International Disaster Management.  The content can be utilized in a diverse range of practice setting such as; corporate, community, public and Non-Governmental Organizations.  |
