| Description | In this course students will learn the importance of managing emergencies related to pandemic, natural, and human-made disasters with a strong emphasis on fire management in the workplace. Students will focus on pre- and post- disaster planning, mitigation, crisis communication, incident management systems, as well as legal and ethical reasons for emergency management, contingency, recovery and business continuity. A key focus will be on fire and life safety systems related to building design and applicable legislations. |
