| Description | This 18-hour course is designed to help prepare technicians for the Drive Clean Repair Technician Certification examination. Topics include causes of air pollution, combustion process, by-products of combustion, exhaust gas analysis, why pollution controls and I/M programs are necessary, emission controls (computer- controlled and non-computer-controlled), feedback systems, emission failures, procedures and equipment used to pinpoint cause, strategy-based diagnostics and ASM testing overview.
