Description	In Employment Skills 1, students learn how to seek career opportunities and effectively market their knowledge, skills, and abilities in relation to those opportunities. Students identify and catalogue work and/or voluntary experience, education, and skills as employable assets, and leverage these to obtain suitable employment consistent with their career plans and goals. This is accomplished by the following strategies: preparing a curriculum vitae (CV)/resumé based on relevant job research; use of social media; preparing a career portfolio; attending a simulated/mock job interview scenario; making use of the active assistance of Centennial College Career Services; and applying strategies to grow and excel on the job.
