Description | The purpose of this course is to apply critical thinking skills to important topics in modern and traditional energy use and their implications for development and environmental protection. Topics include world primary energy sources; supply, demand and reserves; the fundamentals of electricity generation, transmission and end-use; and the use of green technology. This course will be provided in collaboration with the School of Engineering Technology and Applied Science. |
