Description

This course is design to give students extensive knowledge about the parts that makes up the engine and make the engine performs the way it does. This course will cover the intake, exhaust, turbo charger, lubrication and cooling system to name a few. Students will gain knowledge of how the intake and exhaust system works together. They will learn how a turbo charger makes the engine more efficient by using wasted heat to produce power to the engine. They will study the lubricating and cooling system and will gain knowledge of how any one or both of these system can cause premature failure to the engine if not properly maintain. Students will learn how to maintain system such as the lubricating and cooling system from inspecting and repairing to measuring PH level and freeze point of the coolant. Students will be taught how to inspect, diagnose and repair or recommend repair on all system that is covered in this course.
