| Description | Heavy equipment has evolved from crude mechanical machines to advance electronic marvels. This course is design to give students the needed theoretical and hands on knowledge to gain the skills required to diagnose and repair Engine Short Block Assembly. Students will gain knowledge of how Engine Short Block Assembly system works together. Students will be able to explain the fundamentals of the engine short block components. Students will be able to identify the construction features of the engine short block components. Students will be able to describe the principles of operation of the engine short block components. Students will be able to describe the testing, servicing, diagnostic and failure analysis procedures of an engine short block assembly following manufacturers’ recommendations. The students will learn how to safely work on Engine Short Block Assembly using the latest electronic and mechanical tools while adhering to the industry and government regulations. |
