This course covers all elements of managing your own business as an independent lifestyle communications professional. Sourcing clients, creating contracts, invoicing, budgeting and small business accounting are elements established from the first-person perspective. Promotional elements that showcase the business and communicate to prospective clients are also generated. This course includes the unique Start Your Own Business module inherent to all programs at the School of Communications, Media and Design.
