Description | Note: Formerly known as GNED-602 In this course, through interactive case studies and debates, students will discover how social entrepreneurs are transforming societies to deliver social impacts on a local and global scale. Students will explore the development of social entrepreneurial enterprise and learn how entrepreneurial concepts (i.e. Stakeholder Theory) are constructed through an examination of historical, social and economic frameworks. Students will learn about the importance of metrics to quantify social impact to ensure sustainability for social entrepreneurial enterprises and the communities they serve. |
