Description | This course will provide the participant with knowledge of the current economy that influences business models and the role of the entrepreneur. The movement away from an economic environment dominated solely by large business organizations in Canada, and a shifting focus to identification of the stakeholders in any business enterprise has an impact on the role of the entrepreneur. New opportunities exist in an environment where harnessing the benefits of information-based technologies creates strategic business advantages. The demand for business and technology literate individuals who are independent, innovative and self-managing is increasing. |
