| Description | This course is designed as a general education course. It introduces students to many non-technical aspects of environmental issues: historical, social, political and economic. The primary objective of this course is to engage students in sustainability issues within their local community, provide current environmental information, and challenge students to work toward sustainable living. Community groups play a leading role in environmental issues that relate directly and indirectly to sustainability and this course will develop our own sense of community environmentalism and commitment to sustainability. |
