Description

In this course, students will explore the relationship between the worker, work activities, environment, and equipment. They will learn about the human musculoskeletal system, different types of injuries resulting from work-related activities, and the relevant risk factors that cause them. They will review the requirements related to ergonomics, such as regulations, guidelines, and standards. Students will learn about the principles of ergonomic design; and its relationship with anthropometry, biomechanics, and anatomy. Students will learn to apply ergonomics principles to reduce work-related activities' impact on the human body.
