This course provides an overview of insurance business practices from the broker’s perspective, concentrating on the needs of personal-lines clients and small commercial risks. Concepts explore the broker as the insurance intermediary and the required skills to be effective. Topics will include the progression of risk from initial contact with the client through the application and evaluation process, to binding and policy documents.
