In the period of four weeks and building on clinics 1, 2, and 3, students will apply their knowledge and skills to performing in an existing spa. In this placement course, the students will be able to utilize and practice their skills in performance of treatments, client education, and customer service. Emphasis is on participation in the process from when the client first checks in, to when the client leaves. This course is an integral component of preparing students for employment in the field. Demonstration of learning will be assessed in part by placement supervisor.
