| Description | This course discusses the definitions and applications of budgeting. Students will become familiar with the strategies required to manage revenue and will be introduced to purchasing and forecasting for the event industry. Students will gain an understanding of the concept of creating event budgets and conducting a comprehensive needs assessment. There will be discussions on ethics within the industry and how this affects people globally within the profession. Upon completion of this course, students will have the necessary skills to create a full and complete budget. |
