Description | In order for students to be successful in today’s fashion industry, they must learn how to effectively communicate with today’s connected customers. In this course students will be introduced to digital marketing and social media platforms; how to reach, engage and interact with customers in a digital landscape. This course focuses on how to develop a digital marketing strategy that is customer-centric, and how to effectively communicate with today’s customers in order to build long-term relationships. This course will also provide opportunities for practical applications using digital marketing tools, social media platforms, content marketing and social selling. Students will evaluate brand strategies through the use of case students, and will also develop their own content marketing and social media campaigns to add to their portfolio of work.
