| Description | Finding the raw materials, fabrics, hardware and finishings, that compose a garment or accessory is the foundation of a fashion brand’s operations. Students will learn the process of sourcing materials from domestic and international outlets through developing and maintaining relationships, budgeting and transporting. This course outlines the ethical and sustainable implications of sourcing so students are able to apply their understanding to contemporary scenarios. Prerequisite: FBMT - 104 Fashion Product Knowledge and Development. |
