Description | The Industry internship course is designed to acquaint students with practical experience in the Hospitality Industry through an individual and on the job work-study program developed in cooperation with the internship employer. A personalized program is set up based upon the individuals developmental needs and abilities. A faculty advisor and placement official in the industry will interview students and approval must be granted by both parties before the internship may begin. Areas of internship include food & beverage, hotels, and customer service. Industry internship enables the student to better understand the dynamics of the industry, increase their knowledge of industry practices and provides a competitive advantage of experience in the job market. |
