Industry internship is a required 14 week, 224 hour course for students in the Hospitality Management - Restaurant & Catering Program that provides the student with a continued learning experience. Students taking this course will already have been exposed to an industry internship experience in a Food Service enterprise. This course provides 2 days per week of meaningful work experience in approved positions within the Restaurant & Catering Industry, enabling the student to relate classroom theory to the practical world. Industry internship enables the student to better understand the dynamics of the industry, increase their knowledge of industry practices and provides a competitive advantage of experience in the job market.
