| Description | This practicum is designed to provide the student with the opportunity to work with children and/or adolescents in a school based environment. The student will demonstrate a variety of skills as defined in the C.Y.C. Field Evaluation Manual. Some of these include: establishing supportive working relationships with young people, implementing various activities or group programs, utilizing appropriate behaviour management techniques, participating in supervision, and recording young peoples behaviour. |
