| Description | This course will introduce students to the significance of field practicum within their academic experience. Students will, through self-assessment and goal setting, take the necessary steps to select and prepare for field practicum. Students will explore the role of supervision and discuss ethical issues and legal responsibilities while at practicum in a community or criminal justice setting. Through extensive use of role plays, students will explore potentially challenging situations commonly encountered in these field settings and discuss possible solutions/strategies for resolving these conflicts. |
