Description | Acquire skills in responsive caregiving to provide a safe nurturing environment for infants. With the support and guidance of qualified early childhood education professionals, you will be able to apply your skills to front-line practice. Prerequisites: completion of CY-121, CY-122, CY-123 Purchase: Field Practicum Manual–Infants (college book store) Note: This is a planned experience of 25 days in an approved field setting under supervision, plus seven hours of seminars. Once you’ve registered, you should call coordinator Carol Goodman at (416) 289-5000, ext. 3580 to arrange your placement. (Although a 25-day (8 hour) block is preferable, part-time arrangements may be made with the coordinator if needed.) |
