| Description | In this course, students will take an in-depth look at the critical knowledge, skills and attitudes that will contribute to their readiness for field placement. Emphasis will be placed on understanding field placement manual expectations, the roles & responsibilities of students, faculty and agency supervisors, and the importance of engaging in reflective practice to support personal and professional growth. Case studies, role plays, reflective exercises, and visits to the lab school will provide opportunity for students to actively explore the challenges and the rewards of field placement experiences, while developing awareness of their own strengths and needs. Minimum C grade. |
