| Description | This advanced level course in drawing from the human figure builds on the skills acquired in Figure Drawing II, with increased emphasis on extensive realizations of the figure through the sustained approach. Further challenges will include the design and composition of the figure in environmental space, and large scale drawing.
Students will continue to develop spontaneous intuitive responses through gesture drawing and short poses, with increasing emphasis on design, line quality and personal interpretation. Students will be working with a variety of media, including mixed media, and a variety of delivery techniques will be used. |
