| Description | This course focuses on the financial management concepts and skills that are crucial for NGOs to achieve their mission. We will look at budgeting, basic financial accounting, financial reporting, audit, and analysis, funding models, risk management and performance management. Specific attention will be given to the preparation of a Global Affairs Canada budget and the importance of monitoring and accountability in financial management. This course is relevant for any student interested in working with domestic or international NGO's. |
