| Description | This course takes a deep dive into entrepreneurism and innovation with a heavy emphasis on Fintech and state-of-the-art disruptors in Canada, Silicon Valley and around the world. Banking and brokerages have long been at the forefront of info tech as evidenced by “bleeding edge” data mining/analytics, algorithmic trading, chat-bots and High Frequency Trading. Are new, small Fintechs simply being absorbed by the giants? If so, are they truly the “disruptors” they claim to be? Are entrepreneurs born as such, or are there traits we can identify and nurture? |
