| Description | This course examines the key elements required in evaluating the physical fitness status of individuals. Various assessment strategies, tests and tools are examined as well as practical hands-on application of both the assessment of and interpretation of testing activities. This course will also provide students with an understanding of basic math calculations as needed for a career in the fitness industry. Calculating assessment results, designing fitness programs and interpreting fitness data and research is essential for fitness professionals in their practice. If you are enrolled in Fitness and Health Promotion Compressed, this course’s lab hours will be at Ashtonbee Campus. |
