Description

Lecture:
This course introduces the trainee to the basic knowledge required to start flight training – including, general flight procedures, aircraft systems, theory of flight, meteorology, air regulations, pilot decision-making, safety management/culture, etc.

Lab:
Provides the opportunity to practice the knowledge and skills learned in a Flight Training Device (FTD), helping to prepare the trainee for flight operations – as well as introducing the use of Line Oriented Simulation (LOS) used in Pilot Decision Making (PDM) and operation line decisions.

Lecture (ground school) – Lab (aircraft or flight training device/simulator)

Training delivery location:
All training takes place at the Oshawa Airport: Canadian Flight Academy building – 1250 Airport Blvd., Oshawa ON L1J 8P5
