| Description | Hydraulic force is used extensively in heavy duty vehicles. It is also found on many new Hybrid systems as well. This course will give students the knowledge that is needed in the advancement of understanding fluid power. Student will be able to explain the basic fundamentals, rules and laws that govern a Hydraulic System. Students will do mathematical calculations using a set of formulas to find pressure, force and area. Students will learn the correct symbols of various components in a hydraulic circuit. Students will also be able to read and draw hydraulic schematics using the correct symbols. Students will be able to identify and explain the principles and purpose of the components found in a hydraulic circuit. Students will also be able to inspect, diagnose and recommend repairs on a hydraulic system following the correct procedures. |
