| Description | Developing College Communication Skills is an eight-hour per week integrated course designed to assist students in upgrading their English skills in the four areas: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Upon successful completion of this course, students will continue on to COMM-163/COMM-162. While focusing on developing core language competencies, students will work with course materials drawn from their program areas. COMM-142 is the ESL equivalent to COMM-143 and is taught by a TESL (Teacher of English as a Second Language) certified professor. |
