| Description | Foundational nursing skills and interventions will be introduced and practiced in the class, clinical lab and simulation lab setting. Students will develop skills to assist clients with activities of daily living and utilize principles of infection control. Nursing psychomotor skills and interventions will be considered within the context of the nursing process and client-centred care. This course provides the basis for future nursing practice within a healthcare setting. |
