Description | This course is designed to examine the role and functions of the freight forwarder. In addition, you will gain an understanding of the ten major functions of the freight forwarded and the techniques and alternatives available to a shipper or transportation agent. The economics of international trade as a factor in freight routing and transportation mode is included. This course provides a “how to” view of international trade as a follow on to INTL-230 Customs Procedures and INTL-231 Traffic and Transportation.
