| Description | This course is design to introduce students to diesel fuel systems. Students will learn about the properties of diesel fuel and its relation to gasoline. They will discuss the evolution of diesel fuel and how it’s changes has affected the engine and the environment. Students will be able to map the fuel system and explain the purpose of each component of the fuel system. Students will learn about fuel metering and fuel timing. They will also learn about the advantages and disadvantages fuel metering and fuel timing on the engine and environment. Students will able to diagnose and repair various problems as it relates to the engine fuel system and its component. |
