Description:

Game Funding & Marketing introduces students to the practices and techniques for bringing their games their audience. Students will create on online presence (website, blogs, forums) and leverage Social media for generating exposure and community building for launch and post launch. Students will create advertising campaigns using traditional, in-app networks, Facebook and advertising. This course also builds on the principles introduced in Game Industry with a focus on the research and preparation of financial documents and funding models used in the launching a game. Students will prepare a Business plan, documents for accounting and Legal issues as well as understand the Government funding models. Students will explore the facets of being an entrepreneur.
