Geography and Tourism - Eastern Hemisphere

This course provides students with an understanding of the landscapes of the eastern hemisphere and how they relate to tourism and diversity in culture. Students will explore the impact of tourism on the environment and the importance of eco-tourism. The course examines earth sciences such as land formations and reefs, currents climate and climate hazards and how these impact on tourism. Students will be given an opportunity to build confidence with and enhance their ability to use a variety of resources available in an atlas.
