Description

This course introduces the participants to the area of administrative law, which deals with the system of government boards and agencies. Participants will become familiar with the relationship between these tribunals and the courts, and will deal with the processes and statutes applicable to both federal and provincial tribunals. Participants will also examine judicial review of decisions made by tribunals, as well as the relevance of the Canadian Charter of Rights & Freedoms in the administrative law context. The federal Immigration and Refugee process will be dealt with in its administrative law context.
