Hangar - Maintenance Procedures

Description
The students will apply the theory of aircraft reciprocating engines to include the lubrication system, ignition system, carburetors, fuel injection and propeller maintenance. Engine installations, testing in a test cell environment, troubleshooting and engine removal are also studied.

(L) This lab course will provide students with an introduction to the hangar environment. It includes basic aircraft maintenance tasks allowing students to start building and practicing the skills sets required in the aviation industry.
